Are violent depictions against a Republican President okay with all liberals?

I didn’t moron. I said the “right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” was in the Declaration, not in the Bill of Rights.

And that those three “rights” were lies even when Jefferson was penning them.

Try to keep up.
Well, you've made it quite clear that you don't believe in an individual right to life. So it's no surprise that you don't believe in rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Tell us all about the slaves’ right to “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness” in 1776.

I’ll wait.

People can’t defend themselves without guns? [emoji38]up::rofl2:
And how is someone who's not a professional martial artist going to defend themselves against an attack by two or more gangbangers without a gun? Especially if they're female, elderly or disabled. You are promoting a return to the days when bigger and stronger people simply took whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted it.

Delusional, as usual. The slaves didn't have guns, neither here nor in Africa. That's why they became and remained slaves.

I never said anything about slaves and guns. Put the bottle down.

There is no “right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” in the Bill of Rights, idiot. Only in the Declaration. And those were lies before Jefferson’s ink had dried.

Willfully ignorant moron. :rofl2:

Again, what the hell are you talking about? I never mentioned either, dickhead.

Re-read my statement, please. Notice that I qualified the arsenal with "not secured." In other words, Joe Six-Pack's weapons are not locked up and easily available to his disturbed teenage son, any burglar who happens to break in, or his wife who just found out that he's been boinking her sisters. Don't you agree that it is reasonable to require that firearms be kept locked up or otherwise secured when not being used, for the safety of the rest of the community?

I mentioned some time ago that when I was a kid, the walls in my bedroom contained my father's gun collection, most of the ammo was in an unlocked dresser drawer right under more than a dozen handguns.
Using them out of anger was never a consideration because I was taught early in my youth that they were not toys and only to be used when my father was present.
As for requiring firearms to be locked up, how is one supposed to defend their family, themselves and their property? I have most of my firearms locked up, except 2 that are hidden and easily accessible if the need arises. One hangs loaded on my bedpost (with the hammer on an empty chamber). I pose no threat to myself or the community in any way.

Unfortunately, the early education that you received is a rarity these days. No one actually cares about the children any more. It's all about their psychotic paranoia about guns.

Wrong. Vehicles have gotten safer and safer over the years, due to -- wait for it -- regulations demanding it.

Who is ignoring that? Certainly not society, law enforcement, the medical community, etc. Even the WH resident has mentioned the opioid epidemic.

Preventable deaths should be prevented. Joe Six-Pack's right to own an arsenal that isn't secured does not trump *my* right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

And, despite those "safer and safer" vehicles, we're still losing 40,000 a year to traffic accidents. Joe Six-Pack's 'arsenal' is no threat to you. The lack of adequate mental health treatment may be.

We wouldn't even need to have this conversation if all gun owners were like you. But they're not, so here we are. I take it your household is never visited by young children?

Your statistics on vehicular deaths are off. In 1972, the peak year for fatalities, 54,589 ppl were killed in car accidents. The U.S. population that year was 210,000,000. Both statistics are per Wikipedia.
In 2018, 36,750 lost their lives in MVAs. The population that year was 327,000,000.

You don't have to be a math genius to see that the rate of MVA fatalities has decreased drastically. Why? Safer vehicles, brought to us by both govt. regulation and consumer demand.

In 2017 (last year for which I could find statistics), 39,773 ppl lost their lives via firearms. This figure includes suicides. ( https://efsgv.org/press-archive/2018/cdc-shows-increase-in-gun-deaths-in-2017/ )

Joe Six-Pack's unsecured arsenal is both a danger to me and to others, as well. Nearly all children killed by accidental shootings are shot by unsecured firearms.

Post #55, idiot:

“*my* right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

I replied that those “rights” were a lie from the getgo.

Try to keep up, dumbfuck.

You've diverted the entire thread into a discussion about guns. And you're the one who brought up slaves.

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Sure didn’t, pal.

#29, Shitsalot first mentioned guns.

The reference to slaves was in reply to the idiot RB60’s comment about “right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Slaves enjoyed none of those “rights” in 1776.

Nitwit

Am I the only one that has noticed that liberals are very violent people?

The Democrats have spread fear for centuries. They invented the KKK. Today they have the Antifa Stormtroopers. Now they embrace Infanticide. They use fear and lies because they have no ideas that can win against the solid conservative principles of small government, free markets, and individual Liberty.

Yes, he mentioned them in passing and you went full obsessive about them, as you always do. And you are the one who first brought slaves into the topic. I just pointed out that they were, and remained, slaves because they didn't have access to guns.

You claim free markets as a conservative principle, yet you undoubtedly support Trump's use of tariffs.

Accidental shootings are rare. Auto accidents aren't. And there would be even fewer accidental shootings if children were better educated about firearms.
