Are President Obama and Romney that different?

It depends on what Romney you are comparing.

Governor Romney and President Obama are VERY simular.

Canidate Romney and Preisdnet Obama are a little different.

Canidate Romney after he is nominated will very likely go back to being very simular to the president......and, heavan forbid, if Romney could pull out a win... what Romney would be President? Hopefully the one who was Governor of Mass because that would be most like a second Obama term.
 
Welcome to what I've been saying for over a year. Romney is white Obama. And Obama is black Romney. They are the same in every meaningful way. Not that the past 30 years of presidential elections have amounted to anything more complicated than Coke vs. Pepsi.

I belive we had some very bad options in the past... GWB for example. Romney and Obama are both fairly moderate options, I would just like a real choice.

Then why "heaven forbid" on a Romney presidency, Jarod?
 
that depends.....is Obama 12 the same guy as Obama 08?.....because I heard a lot of stuff in 08 that I didn't see in 09, 10 or 11....if the story is the same as 08 I would be wondering if there was any reason to expect 13, 14, and 15 would look any different from 09, 10 and 11.....

Because he appears to have no soul, he will say justabout anything, the etch a sketch nature of his positions simply to appeal to the voter he needs at the time.

I seem to recall he intended to restore fiscal responsibility to Washington, condemning the spending policies of Bush......he promised everyone they could hope for change.....and four years later, they still are......does that count as a filled promise

Are you saying he continued the policies of Bush that he said he would change?
 
While I'm sympathetic to the view that Obama hasn't presented a good case to vote for him, I think the idea that Romney and Obama are the same is nuts.
