Arazona goes blue

Perspective. But do you even know the actual numbers? You say there are all these people crossing illegally, but you don't actually provide a number. So is this a case of "take my word for it"? If so, why should I? Why should anyone?
why don't you look it up?

The biggest change agents see is the size of groups they encounter. Instead of a handful of immigrants or groups under 10, they are now apprehending groups of 20 or more. In Lukeville, Arizona, last week, agents stopped a group of 50 spanning a half-mile wide. Instead of running from agents, the immigrants sought them out to request asylum.

"Right now, the word is out. Bring a child," a Border Patrol agent in Arizona told Fox News. "That's their ticket. If they come as an adult, they can be held. If they come as family, or as minor, they can't. They know it. The smugglers tell them."

Family apprehensions at southern border hit record monthly high
https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/09/politics/southern-border-crossings-october/index.html
Apprehensions of families illegally crossing into the US from Mexico reached a record monthly high in October, the first month of the fiscal year, according to new Customs and Border Protection data released Friday.
The number of family members apprehended in October was 23,121, up almost 39% from September, which had 16,658 apprehensions -- a previous monthly record. This number is up 378% from last October, which had 4,836 family members apprehended.
CBP first began tracking apprehensions of family members in 2013.

It was a blue wave.

You lost control of the House...a House you gerrymandered.

There's also no way to measure the Kavanaugh impact. It didn't help in Senate races since y'all lost Montana, Ohio, Wisconsin. Florida is probably not going to end up a win either. You picked up Missouri (+20 Trump state) and North Dakota (also a 20+ Trump state), but couldn't win in the others.
wrong. Ohio was a win. Florida will be a win. Plus the progressives went down in flames in Floridan and Georgia.
35 seats is a historical average for 1st term POTUS midterm.
picking up Senate seats is outstanding

Some perspective from the article:

Historically, in the early to mid-2000s, there were months when well over 100,000 migrants were apprehended illegally crossing the southern border.

So it would seem that 23,121 is much, much less than 100,000+ that came during Bush, right?

So how is this a national emergency?

No link...lol. I heard that they don't cost any amount of money and actually are net contributors to tax revenue.
they are not an asset if they are unskilled - another reason to go to merit based immigration while building the wall

Why restrict numbers? What's the motivation behind that? Oh right, racism.
ROFL @ "fear of brown people". all countries restrict immigration -the US is the most liberal for asylum.
we want legal immigration as long as they are a net plus

illegals cost about $100 billion in services a year.( no link - hearsay)The wall about $25 billion.

Visa's can be regulated, and undesirables/diseases/gangs etc. screened out, as well as pure numbers restricted.

Illegal crossings are unrestricted and unknown

They will just pay the $160 and cross legally. What part of this aren't you understanding?

wrong. Ohio was a win.

Sherrod Brown is a Democrat. He won the Senate election there. Moron.

Florida will be a win.

We'll see. They're not acting like it's a win.

Plus the progressives went down in flames in Floridan and Georgia

Huh? In FL, neither Gillum or Desantis got 50% of the vote. In fact, the margin for Desantis is currently below 0.3%, isn't it? That's going down in flames? Going down in flames would be what happened in the Ohio Senate race, with Renacci losing by 7%.

Kemp only leads Abrams by 0.5%. Again, not going down in flames.

Seems like you just say shit to make yourself feel better.

Fact is 2018 was a shellacking, and 2020 will be even worse for the GOP.

35 seats is a historical average for 1st term POTUS midterm.

Only if you include wild variances. It's a stunning rebuke of your agenda.

icking up Senate seats is outstanding

You're right...like the two Democrats picked up in Nevada and Arizona that were GOP-held.

because of the contemporary (new) abuse of the asylum claims. It's literally a ticket IN without getting deported OUT- since that overwhelms the courts, and they are forced to release in country.

How do you know they're unskilled?

You don't even know how many of them there are.

You don't seem to know what "legal immigration" even means. You're just faking your way through this debate.

because of the contemporary (new) abuse of the asylum claims

Well, Central America is a mess mostly because of our foreign policy there, like Honduras. We backed a coup in Honduras during Bush that created the political turmoil that is driving asylum seekers away from there today. In fact, pick any Central American country and I'll happily tell you how we're to blame for the turmoil there.

It's literally a ticket IN without getting deported OUT- since that overwhelms the courts, and they are forced to release in country.

Since we're in the business of just making up standards, maybe we should do so for those who purport to be American citizens on the internet, yet push Russian propaganda...like you.

link to some facts to prove that claim?

I was thinking Indiana - a pick up nonetheless

We'll see. They're not acting like it's a win.
they will. DeSantis is doing transition work. Broward could possibly steal for Scott -but unlikely

i haven't seen the latest numbers -but a win is a win
and a machine recount can't overturn that margin.. Nelson could still steal it -

Kemp only leads Abrams by 0.5%. Again, not going down in flames.
lol. as long as he gets over 50% it's a win

Seems like you just say shit to make yourself feel better.
Fact is 2018 was a shellacking, and 2020 will be even worse for the GOP.
Trump will have coattails in 2020
The Dems will be the do nothing Congress -it will be a blowout

Only if you include wild variances. It's a stunning rebuke of your agenda.
historical loses are not stunning rebukes

you would be more accurate in that drug wars are causing the fleeing.
These are not "political refugees" -they are economic migrants.
I've seen many interviews with da caravan where they say they are fleeing from crime or to get jobs

Since we're in the business of just making up standards, maybe we should do so for those who purport to be American citizens on the internet, yet push Russian propaganda...like you.
rofl.
you have no understanding of NATO expansion / McCain& Nuland's meddling in the Euromaidan, or Vostok 2018

No that isn’t it. Not once did you proclaim a desire about “split government” when dems controlled the show

You are a fucking shameless liar

Um - yeah, I did.

How can you just say something like that when you have NO IDEA?

Incredible. Yeah - I did. I don't like one party in control, ever.

How do you know they're unskilled? You don't even know how many of them there are.
precisely the reason to build the wall. so we can move to a merit based where we DO know, and keep out the gangs, tuberculosis, unskilled

And why would they restrict immigration? Racism.
ROFL.. 5 million people walk into Germany and Merkel loses her grasp on power - why? because of "racism" :rofl2:

You don't seem to know what "legal immigration" even means. You're just faking your way through this debate.
it wouldn't be the first time -but i do

Revved them up so much that they lost 35 seats in the House, 350+ State legislative seats, 7 governorships (maybe more), 7 state legislative chambers, and lost GOP-held Senate seats in Nevada and Arizona, and couldn't win in Montana, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Obama, the more popular President, did far worse than Trump.

BLUE WAVE!! IT was HUUUUUGGGEEEE! A really BIG one!!!
