Sounds pretty similar to the predictions that were made when seat belts became mandatory in vehicles

No one ever said addressing mental health wasn’t helpful, but with all the guns out there, and millions of people with mental difficulties, you can do all the treating you want but it won’t tell us who the next shooter will be, or the target.

Addressing mental health is a help, but not the solution, also, it’s the deflecting argument used by the right so they don’t have to admit the real problem

The push to the right seems to be about not impeaching or prosecuting a criminal president Trump, who is unstable, and mentally ill- in anything resembling a rational manner. Instead, when the House, or the FBI, or SDNY, or NY DA, or Georgia State DA, or special Council, or Congressional Investigation committee tries to do something, they become the new Republican Target of persecution and they start receiving death threats.
