AP exposes Democrats blatantly lying about coronavirus

Yes I did speculate. Why is that a problem for you? Was Trump confused or misinformed about the windmills?

You didn't speculate about the existence of "confusion". You speculated about how the alleged "confusion" supposedly arose.

You declaratively attributed the misinformation to "confusion" with no evidence that there was any confusion. That's a problem, in logical terms.

Is this really that difficult for you?

Was Trump confused or misinformed about the windmills?

Wow. Is that "whataboutism"?

What is difficult is understanding why you have a problem with me speculating why they gave us misinformation and to where the confusion came from?

The OP claimed that they deliberately lied. Where is the evidence of that? See? That's the OP speculating without evidence. I don't see you complaining about him speculating without evidence.

Wow. Is that "whataboutism"?

No. It's called a comparison to help you understand my simple point.

You repeatedly state that there was "confusion", which is in no way established as the cause of the misinformation. That is mischaracterization.

If you'd said "it was probably confusion, probably caused by his firing the pandemic team", that would have been a speculative statement, which is perfectly logical since it does not state a conclusion.

But that's not what you said, Mr. Lefty. Instead, you said this:

He did fire the U.S. pandemic response team. That's probably where the confusion came from.

The OP claimed that they deliberately lied. Where is the evidence of that? See? That's the OP speculating without evidence. I don't see you complaining about him speculating without evidence.

I'm not the OP, and who I choose to engage on an issue is my decision to make, not yours. My body, my choice.

No. It's called a comparison to help you understand my simple point.

I disagree. Shall I help you understand what "whataboutism" is defined as?

So you're hung on semantics?

Okay. To make you happy, they were probably confused due to confusing cutting budget with Trump firing the team.

Satisfied?

*cringes* That was unnecessary.

Whataboutism is a form of deflection. But sure if it makes you happy to define it.

So you're hung on semantics?

I'm' "hung" on making rational, fact-based statements. Words have meaning.

Whataboutism is a form of deflection. But sure if it makes you happy to define it.

My happiness isn't the issue, Mr. Lefty. "Whataboutism" is defined as a variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument.

Your question below appears to be an example of "whatboutism" as defined.

Was Trump confused or misinformed about the windmills?

Of course. I thought my post was clear. I guess I should apologize for not making it any clearer.

I doubt they deliberately lied. Just misinformed or confused. And we all know how confused Biden can be. Not so sure about the other guy.

It appears that way to you. It's a comparison.

Was Biden confused when he misinformed the audience?
Was Trump confused when he misinformed the audience?

Or did both lie knowingly?

There is no deflection here. Only comparison.

Quote me stating that it was okay for me when Democrats lie. Did you even see my first post in this thread?

You mean right here, when you responded to the fact that Democrats had just been caught in another set of lies by rushing in to point out that all politicians lie? Gee, what a wild leap of logic to consider that being okay with it when Democrats lie. Are we struggling with short-term memory loss again?

Nope. Trump DID try to cut budget to CDC. That's a fact. The confusion is him succeeding in doing that.

You made a factually accurate statement for once. You get a cookie. :hand:

Too bad it refutes nothing that's being talked about. Democrats still lied on BOTH their claims.

Everyone just lost a few IQ points looking at your post.

Yes, laughing at your dishonest stupidity...THAT'S what lowers the IQ of the thread. :rofl2:

Arsecheese never gets anything right; the OP, knucklehead, states that the budgets were not cut. The Party of the Jackass are lying that they were.

I guess we cannot expect someone with an IQ below room temperature to comprehend anything past the lame, dumb, lie filled narratives he is fed by CNN.

Lies. You are comparing two void arguments.
