Yes, "better than even" is the same as "favored to win." A 78% chance would be both "better than even" and "favored to win." It used to be a near certainty that Republicans would win the House, now they are just "favored to win", so the trend is working against them. If on election day, it is even odds, and they lose the even odds... Then we have to ask what did trump bring to it.

The DOW lost 643 points yesterday...nearly a 2% loss, Walter.
A 78% chance is not definitive, it is a better than even chance. The odds will change (or more accurately will almost certainly change), as they have changed up till now. They are changing right now in a direction you do not like.

They are great with causing out of control inflation, borders and crime.

Unemployment is at a record low. Energy and food prices came down so much that inflation was zero for a month.
And Democrats are running competent campaigns, which is quite frankly more than I can say for Republicans. I am almost sure trump will announce before the election, and hurt Republicans across the board. It is insane, but he cannot help himself.
It helps to have reality on our side.
