I love it when the comparison has to get so specific, like w/ "bogus dossier." As though that's the only criteria for any opposition movement's attempts to undermine a Presidency.

Its certainly not the only bogus criteria for opposing Trump and undermining this presidency......

The birther movement is still fringe whether Trump was behind or not. If I might refresh your memory, Trump was a fringe political actor at the time.

There just isn’t a comparison between that and what Trump has been subjected to. There just isn’t.

Even if I accept that figure, the leftist talking heads in the media scoffed at the birther movement. Pretty much every criticism of Obama was deemed ‘racist’ and the birther movement was no exception. But the same leftist idiots will run ANY negative story about Trump—-even from anonymous sources.

And encourage the democrats in your district to run on the ‘Trump supporters are racists’ bit.

-Ben Carson is easily the most popular candidate in the field with a 68/14 favorability rating. The closest anyone else comes to that is Marco Rubio at 58/24. Carson is also the most frequent second choice of GOP voters at 13%. And he’s the only Republican who would win a head to head showdown with Trump, 49/43. Among candidates with meaningful support, only Mike Huckabee’s supporters would go to Trump in a head to head with Carson.

-Besides Trump and Carson the other candidates with momentum compared to our late July national poll are Carly Fiorina and John Kasich.

The best you can spin a good economy under Trump is that Trump is such a miserable failure...but...but, well he at least managed to not screw the economy up.

The numbers to watch are the consumer confidence index and GDP and both numbers are either good or excellent so far. At some point, if the trend continues, it’s going to have a political effect.

Maybe it's a sort of weird delusion, because you probably realize that her or a candidate equally as weak is likely Trump's only shot at re-election.
