Anthem exits Covered California in Santa Cruz County, as rates increase 12.5 percent

When will people understand that this was how Obamacare was supposed to work from the start? It was designed to crash and burn. It was designed to be the bridge to single payer. The GOP were outplayed on this.

They have an opportunity to turn this back and they don't have to repeal Obamacare. They can leave it in place. Because there is nothing keeping them from passing the following laws that will in essence kill Obamacare

1) make it legal for any individual to purchase any healthcare plan they want from any state they want with no required coverages
2) incentivize employees to purchase medical insurance outside their employer by offering a rebate for the difference between employer sponsored plans and what they purchase in the open market (it expires in 3 years)
3) kill the individual mandate and the employer mandate

The study found that in 2008, premiums grew by an average of 9.9 percent, and by 10.8 percent the following year.
In 2010, premiums grew an average of 11.7 percent. That was the last year that individual insurance market prices were not affected by mandates of the Affordable Care Act, which Obama signed in June 2010

So Obamacare is higher and they were supposed to go down. That was the promise. Epic big gubmint fail
