Romney is now being forced to run as a candidate in the Utah race to replace another RINO that is retiring.

Mike Kennedy is a Conservative who ran against the status quo and bucked it. He vocally supports Trump and Trump supported him. More signs that the never-Trumpers are dinosaurs destined for the trash heap of history.

Romney Loses Utah GOP Convention, Derailing Senate Coronation

Romney was narrowly defeated at Saturday’s Republican state convention, receiving 49 percent of the vote to state Representative Mike Kennedy’s 51 percent.

Kennedy promised to “support President Trump” if sent to Washington, but also portrayed himself as an underdog against the “Romney machine.” (Aside from having far less name recognition, Kennedy has $257,000 on hand to Romney’s $1.1 million.)
