A statute of a confederate soldier who didn’t own slaves and didn’t know what he was fighting for.
Tear it down.
At least this time it wasn’t mob mentality.

There is a confederate cemetery in Fredericksburg with a monument.
What can we do about that?
Perhaps we can plan to tear down that monument and rename the cemetery. Give me a date this can happen. Let’s organize.

Not only should we tear that monument down, but we should dig up the graves, and toss the remains and headstones into the Potomac.

It is of significance because it gave racists comfort by glorifying and sanitizing the traitors with whom they share the same values.
