Yeah, I looked at the global temperature curves and the causation for the Little Ice Age. Looks like a large increase in volcanic activity. Very natural.

Then I see the huge spike in global temperatures for the current period. What’s the natural phenomenon causing that?

It would be the cessation of massive volcanic activity, ... if that theory is correct. The scientists don't actually know why the LIA happened.

The cessation caused a huge spike? Our current spike is far beyond even the Medieval Warm Period.

There are no complete Aerosol proxy records from the LIA to make a comparison. Which is why volcanism is just a theory. The very latest theory being advanced is changes in ocean currents.

The Medieval warming is a Proxy record which you are comparing to satellite data. That is a very unscientific thing to do. And modern proxy data from tree rings has been thrown out (labeled as tree ring divergence), because it does not agree with the satellite data.

Aerosols are not well understood at all. They are just used as a fudge factor anytime the math does not work out.
