He is no scientist nor a chemist. He obviously knows nothing about the materials this train was carrying at the time.

No it wasn't "moments" before derailment. They now have pictures of sparks flying from that cars wheel almost an hour before the derailment.

Which says there was a mechanical failure well before the derailment and that the engineers on the train didn't know about it. It also says they likely couldn't have stopped the train from derailing regardless of some idiot federal regulation on train brakes.
