Another pound of angus in the "nothing burger"

Let me guess, for some reason this doesn't apply to the DNC 'ally' who solicited something of value from the Ukrainians.

The lefts hypocrisy is boundless.

That's what you're left w/?

You're really hitting the dregs now. The RNC really needs to put some new talking points out there for you guys, and fast.

LOL - the Ukraine thing just popped up from 3 posters in the last 5 minutes.

Are all of you guys on a mass email that goes out to Fox, talk radio & every other Trump defender?

At least give us your spin on the Ukrainian collusion lol.

i found it

Donald Trump wasn’t the only presidential candidate whose campaign was boosted by officials of a former Soviet bloc country.

Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.

hilarious.. we meddle in their Euromaiden, they meddle in our election..everybody does it- then we all deny it

veteran DNC operative who previously worked in the Clinton White House, Alexandra Chalupa, worked with Ukrainian government officials and journalists from both Ukraine and America to dig up Russia-related opposition research on Trump and Manafort. She also shared her anti-Trump research with both the DNC and the Clinton campaign, according to the Politico report.

looks the same..everybody does it.

Think carefully now: Under U.S. campaign laws, is the DNC receiving briefings from Chalupa (U.S. citizen) the same as lil' Donnie, Manafort and Kushner soliciting a thing of value from a foreigner?

Actually no but you think it is a problem to get dirt on a candidate from a foreign country. If I recall you lefties were peddling the Russian dossier for weeks remember?

But hey if you are OK with the DNC doing it please just say so.

It doesn't matter the DNC did it. If it's treason it's treason no matter who does it. That only proves what we already knew---the Clintons know how to keep their hands clean.

I think The Resistance has just been had by Trump senior.

Can you guess what the letters YFOS stand for?

The DNC was not working with the Ukranian govt as part of a planned scheme to obtain illegally hacked, private information. The Ukranian govt was not actively trying to get Clinton elected and the information the DNC got came from various sources including the media.

And once again, the TRAITORS who were working for the Trump campaign engaging in CRIMINAL ACTIVITY are now working in the WH.

I saw it on Twitter yesterday or the day before. Following traditional outlets is passé and they are typically hours or days behind the curve.

My link was from a Politico article from January. Politico is a liberal organ that normally stays on the liberal reservation but this was before Junior Trump got the left obsessing over campaign laws lol.

With that attempt at diversion aside, here's the relevant points:

"A Ukrainian-American operative who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee met with top officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia, according to people with direct knowledge of the situation.

The Ukrainian efforts had an impact in the race, helping to force Manafort’s resignation and advancing the narrative that Trump’s campaign was deeply connected to Ukraine’s foe to the east, Russia. But they were far less concerted or centrally directed than Russia’s alleged hacking and dissemination of Democratic emails." [from prior link]
_____________

Did Junior go to an embassy to meet with actual government officials?

No.

Did Junior *receive something of value* from a foreign government?

No.

Did Junior receive something of value that actually helped his fathers campaign?

No.

Note also the last sentence. It indicates even Politico knows there's something fishy about the Ukrainian collusion so they are forced to add 'well, at least it's not directed from Russia...blah-blah-blah.'

Spin away. But let me get some Dramamine on board first.

But there's a glaring problem for any Prosecutor who would try to indict Junior on this.

Until Junior actually possesses the dirt AND uses it for campaign purposes, he hasn't utilized a foreign government in an election. And hasn't 'colluded'. In other words, you have to complete the circle.

The fact he never possessed any doesn't help your case.

You really are stupid. Solicitation does not require possession. It only requires the act of asking to obtain. The emails prove that element.

Are all Trumpsuckers so illiterate?

Then prosecute the DNC person. They are not campaign representatives. Especially the child of, the in-law of and the campaign manager of the candidate.

You guys are simultaneously and pathetically naive and ignorant.

The irony of you telling me to "spin away" is practically beyond comprehension.

Look at Jr's emails. He "loved" the idea of dirt. He thought he was meeting w/ someone in the gov't. He invited 2 prominent members of Trump's campaign.

You asked for evidence of collusion for MONTHS. This is it. Is it "illegal"? No - but it sure is collusion, by just about any definition. And now you guys are in crazy spin mode - I've seen at least 5-6 trial balloons over the past few days, and none of them are gaining altitude.

"Ukraine" and "they do it too!" aren't going to fly either. This is everything you told us wasn't happening. Trump Jr. thought they had some good stuff on Clinton, and couldn't wait to meet w/ her to find out.

So, yeah - get that Dramamine. For you & yours.

Here's how it works, idiot. It's been said many times already, but it doesn't sink in for you cretins.

Goldstone: "I know someone in the Russian government who has shit on Clinton."
Trump: "I love it and want to meet to hear it."

BAM! Solicitation.

Had it gone like this, no problem:

Goldstone: "I know someone in the Russian government who has shit on Clinton."
Trump: "Sorry. Illegal. Not interested."

But it didn't go down that way, did it. The first way did. Solicitation. That a product was not delivered, by law, is irrelevant.

Comprende, stupid?

You forgot the part where the collusion was rejected.

No collusion, according to your own story.

The Imperial Don won fair and square. Put on your pussy suits and weep. It's our virtue.

Yet, you can't/won't explain why this sort of thing wasn't a big deal last January.

It's not even a good play. No matter how we look at your story, in the end Junior rejected Russian advances. Whether he broke the law in doing so or not.

Now 9 months of collusion frenzy is washed away by your own inability to think things through.
Only, because as you stated, they didn't have anything, otherwise, he was hungry for info and brought people who could deal if the goods were good.

If someone from the Trump campaign had gone to the Russian embassy to receive help in their campaign against Clinton, the left would be screaming for the gallows.

Literally.

Only, because as you stated, they didn't have anything, otherwise, he was hungry for info and brought people who could deal if the goods were good.

Which is highly imaginative of you. Both scary and another story altogether without proof of any kind.

Still, your story goes the Russian collusion was rejected.

Glad we cleared that up. All Hail The Imperial Don. We admit he wins without cheating.

why do you insist on reducing your own argument to rubble? You just can't help yourself can you.

Let me offer a little debate 101, when you are criticizing someone for something that the person you support did the exact same thing, or worse in this case, you would be much better served to either offer an opinion as to why it is you think the former is worse, why you think the latter is not as concerning, or thirdly and in this case may be the most convincing admit that both were equally bad judgement.

Although I must warn you, to people actually paying attention what Hillary did on said subject is documented collusion, what we have with Donald Jr is not only second person removed from the candidate but still a long way from collusion.

I feel like I'm debating with children, honestly.

Attempted collusion is a crime also. Just like attempted espionage. If you try to pass of national security secrets to a foreign govt but fail in your attempt, you're still guilty of a crime.

The fact that Dumpster Jr went to the meeting knowing who and what she was and what she was offering and for what purpose... all together spell attempting to collude with a foreign enemy to subvert the US election process.

Now they're going to flip the little boy fish for the big daddy fish.

Guess we'll soon see how much family loyalty exists within the Dumpster clan.
