An unorganized militia of the People won our freedom from the most powerful military of it's day. The writers of our constitution experienced this, hence the 2nd. Amendment.

The War of the Southern Rebellion proved only well regulated militias of the United States may not be Infringed in the keeping and bearing of Arms for their State or the Union, regardless of all of the other ones.

It wasn't until the South crossed the Pennsylvania border that the tide of the war changed. The North was also far more mechanized than the agricultural South.

The constitution of my home state gives me the right to keep firearms for the defense of myself and my state.

Bear in mind, in our modern organized militia have family and friends here in this country's rural areas, many are veterans themselves. Are you entertaining the notion they would attack them?

No-Knock warrants are blatant violations of the 2A rights of Americans and our right to self-defense and Castle doctrine.

And of course the fucking racist pussies that make up the NRA have not a fucking thing to say.

SO glad I stopped supporting them years ago when I realized they only give a fuck about white gun rights, and not about the rights of dark-skinned people like me back when they gave the shaft to Philando Castile when he was murdered by a cop.

Firearms Policy Coalition is a far superior organization, one which speaks out about cases like Castile and Locke, not just about people that are pasty white enough for the NRA to care about.
