I would point out that my daughter went to the police academy with men,

I respect what your daughter has accomplished so much...she wasn't in actual "competition" with the men, though...Unisex standards in the academy? Or were there different ones for men and women...But whatever...there were academy standards to meet...if she didn't match (or if she surpassed) what a man accomplished, it didn't affect whether or not she completed the training successfully...
 
I totally get the hate/envy for The University...trust me on that one....been living it my whole adult life....:laugh: I'm pretty sure no alma mater is hated more than mine...;)

I don't know the details of her experience.

There are certain things that it's best for a dad to avoid knowing,
and having my summa cum laude daughter in the police academy
when I wanted her to become a theatrical publicist, her first internship job,
was one of those things about which I chose not to think.

Perhaps your football team, TOP but not the university…highly respected by educated folks…low in state tuition.

I get that...that's quite the different direction...but then, there must have been a calling...and she's been pretty successful...and close to being able to retire...
They need theatrical publicists desperately... perhaps her CAR (Career After Retirement...) and your wish...

At times...aren't we all sometimes? A very nice man, actually, and he loved his teams...and Ohio State... (Had he been anywhere other than OSU, the story would have never "lingered"...lol)

I saw that his salary was only 43K, less than some of his assistants, he truly loved the game.

I coached youth league baseball, soccer and basketball and was only thrown out of one baseball game. It was a game that we won that allowed us to play in the 7-8 World Series (AABC). We made it to the championship games…lost twice to P.R. My esposa sat with the P.R. team with our son playing second base. I caught unmitigated hell for that from our parents. She did cheer for our team.

He's competing under old trans regulations, and will have to meet more stringent requirements if the team advances to championship competition.

Don't lose any sleep over this. It's a tiny college and we'll probably never hear this name again. The other events he participated in didn't yield spectacular results.

So you can read his mind? Do you understand the abuse and danger that a transitioning guy brings to himself competing as a girl? Trans competing in girls meets are getting derision and hate every place they go. That is paying a high price for a swim medal. They are between sexes and have no safe place to go. You are making it worse.
