And another point, you will hear the conservatives argue that wearing a short skirt, wearing your hat with the wrong tilt or a hoodie invites trouble and danger. But following a person for several minutes in the dark, in your car and then on foot around corners and then questioning that person in an accusatory manner does not? Absurd. That is not just failing to act with due caution it is overtly agressive behavior and any reasonable person should expect that it might be met with a reaction.

I can't even say how much I agree with this. It has driven me crazy from the beginning. I have had about 100 fights with people on here about just exactly this. It's so clear to me, so self-evident. But as cawacko said, the one thing i agree with him about, I'm just tired of arguing it. It has turned partisan. I guess these days everything does.

I agree, it could be looked from that point of view....just as getting shit faced in a bar at 1am could invite trouble.....

and just as Darla has said a hundred times, that doesn't give anyone the right to rape you, nor does it give someone the right to attack you for watching someone.

The term here would be "wannabe." Give him a few more years, no parental control, low expectations, the wrong environment to grow up in and the wrong group of kids to hang with and he could definitely become "thuggish."
