Another gun nut goes off the deep end...kills neighbors for being "mean"

Don't be jelly, try the Mediterranean diet like me and you can shed that extra 300 lbs you are carrying.

Really, cretin?

'Sinking'... every year the large island of Crete under the weight of the most obese residents of Europe!

This is not a pun but a harsh reality, as the last 40 years (1970 -2010) the average weight of the Cretans rose by 20 kg.

The distressing finding brings to light, through scientific studies - the professor of surgery at the University of Crete and Director of Surgical Oncology Clinic of the University Hospital of Heraklion Mr. John Melissas, on the occasion of the event in Chania (29 to 31 October) 15th Pancretan Medical Conference.

"Unfortunately in the last 40 years the most healthy people worldwide in 1970, became the most obese in Greece and Europe in 2010" says Mr Melissas and adds "It is likely to sink Cretans health if preventive measures are not taken to tackle obesity, as is already the weight of the 700,000 inhabitants of the last 40 years have been added to 14,000,000 kg."

Go ahead, pick one but be forewarned, with your rep here your pick or choice is about as worthless as the career of Amanda Bynes.

Maybe you should have said "as worthless as OCA's false statistics". That would've stung a little.

Was the 2 weeks back on Crete a condition of your parole?

I have lots of articles that say you're lying again.

Yeah, it's really hard to kill with a gun - NOT.

"Child shoots SWAT officer at reading event" - luckily the officer didn't die, but he could have.

And there are plenty of cases of kids killing people with guns. Kids would have a harder time killing via knives and strangulation and what not.

A Lodi Police SWAT officer had a Glock .35 with a flashlight in his thigh holster at a children’s reading event when a boy managed to pull the trigger and shoot the officer.
How was the child able to fire the weapon? The gun did not have a safety mechanism.
The officer was showing off the department’s SWAT truck, vest and other gear at a children’s event called Reading Roundup on Aug. 24.
“A small child, witnesses tell us was 6 to 8 years old, was able to walk up to the officer and was able to pull the trigger.”

The bullet hit the officer’s leg. He was taken to the hospital for a minor injury and released

Police department officials are hoping the child's family comes forward because they still haven't been able to interview the child or his parents.
