Republicans have a President,and majorities in the House and Senate

How do they control all three branches? Be specific.

That's 2 branches. The House and Senate combined make up the Legislative branch. President is Executive. The 3rd branch is Judicial.

This is why liberals are the dumbest lot on the planet.

That's easy to say if you're not the one who's paycheck is affected, or the recipient of whatever program gets halted in the shutdown.

thats the point! Most government employees are democrats. Shut down drains them of funds just in time for the midterms. Less funds = less donations and time to volunteer. We need a long 3 month shutdown.

How so? If you have the majority votes in both houses, it is. The problem now is the GOP is feuding among itself (to a degree) in addition to this latest disaster of gov't shutdown.

It requires 60 votes in the Senate moron, all but 4 republicans voted for the extension and only 5 senate democrats crossed the aisle.
