Let's break this down. Someone claims Bolton's book makes claims you like and you automatically agree. When something is involved you don't like on the same issue, suddenly there are questions about the truth.

The manuscript was given to the Whitehouse and the word is they ran a ton of copies. Lots of people had copies or read it. You are making shit up again.

trump himself leaks a huge amount, as does the rest of his administration. Leaking seems to be one of the main policy debating tools of the trump administration. It is very dysfunctional.

In a sense, why does it matter who it was?

Think about what has transpired over the past few days. Impeachment* was pretty much on the rocks with the Turtle keeping even the squishy members of his caucus in line.

Then, almost as if on cue [well, it almost certainly was on cue lol] the NYT prints a ‘they said Bolton said’ from an anonymous source which could have only come from within the NSC.

The leak was initiated by *a criminal* regardless of who it was. In short, Democrats are in league with criminals within the government. And this was hardly the first time it has happened. Criminals, within the government, are trying to take down a duly president.

No biggie, because Trump, apparently.

The NSC has had the manuscript since December. I wonder how long NYT was in possession of the leaked portion?
