The point of this thread is not about the longest list by partisanship. It is about who is the most disingenuous. Anthony Weiner didn't say that we should make dick selfies illegal. But Larry Craig, a US Senator, supported the Federal Marriage Amendment (barring rights extension to same sex couples). and then was busted for soliciting gay sex in the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport restroom by toe tapping. The piousness of Craig trumps the idiocy of Weiner.

It is a partial list. The point being that hacks like Zappasguitar call out republican perverts, but never say shit about their own party's perverts. Zappasguitar mentioned that this would fly under the radar, but the truth is he sweeps democrat perversion under the rug.

I get that and agree with you. I think that listing pedophiles by partisanship is disingenuous, on either side. But there is more than that, here. There are priests that not only break the law, but break their own ethics. There are Republicans that not only break the law, but break their own public ethos. And, of course, there are Democrats that not only break the law, but violate their own public pathos.

However, there just may be a qualitative difference in Democrats who violate their own pathos by sexual proclivity, or financial malfeasance, and Republicans who violate their own ethos by sexual predation, especially involving the exact behavior that they voraciously try to make illegal.

Good points. I can't stand republican duplicity when it comes to family values or other social issues. Bush dummy II was against marijuana legalization, but he was a drunk who did coke. Clinton "didn't" inhale, and was against the same. But the republicans who rail against gay rights and then turn out to be gay are horrible, but to me, it is no different than other forms of political hypocrisy.

People like Zappasguitar and Cohort Troll are annoying because they believe and try to make others believe that only the other party is guilty of such violations. Zappasguitar and Troll will never admit that both sides commit crimes. I understand their desire to point out the republican hypocrisy, but they honestly believe that democrats are never hypocritical. While complaining that talking blow heads like Rush will not mention this, Zappasguitar will never mention any democrat sin or crime.
