This time DHS and ICE busted the 15 location chain Zipp's Sports Grill. It appears the raid was about more than just their using illegals but the details haven't been released. A few dozen radical Leftists and politicians of that stripe showed up to whine about the raids even as they admitted they had zero details about them.

HSI says search warrants were authorized based on information presented to a federal judge and were executed as part of a criminal investigation into felony violations of federal law.

On Wednesday, a spokesperson with ICE said nearly three dozen people accused of being in the country illegally were arrested. They also clarified that the investigation is focused on unlawful employment, identity theft and document fraud.

You thought wrong! I want ALL illegals deported. I also want US citizen enablers, like the owners and management of this restaurant chain arrested for their part in that. In this case, it appears they were into identity fraud and theft, tax evasion, and other crimes. The feds had them under investigation for months, and it's likely some of the illegals were involved with management in carrying out these crimes, just as they have been each time before where one of these chains gets busted.

I've always advocated for 100% removal of all illegals, what are you talking about? I NEVER stated that the worst or most criminal should be the focus, although that does make sense in the early stages of a removal operation. All illegals should be deported.

Could be mistaken, but I believe that is a common practice in the SouthWest, even when GW was Governor of Texas he was asked why it was not further enforced he admitted that a lot of businesses depend on it for labor. And even Trump has been snagged doing the same (https://www.axios.com/2019/02/08/trump-organization-illegal-immigrants). and more than once on everything from his ground crews to construction crews

And “LurchAdams” has a point, thought ICE was going after the violent criminals, not some poor slob trying to scratch out a living

In Arizona, restaurants and restaurant chains regularly get busted for using illegals, human smuggling, having drop houses, failing to pay minimum wage, taxes, etc.

To name two major busts over the years. There have been dozens of smaller ones. Going after US citizens who are ringleaders of these operations makes sense. They are abusing the illegals they employ and exploiting them. The ringleaders go to jail, the illegals who worked for them get deported. That makes perfect sense and should be done every time whenever possible.

That ain’t happening, estimates have close to 14 million illegals immigrants in the US, even with Trump’s promise of a million a year deported, which he didn’t accomplish, it would take over a decade, and that would require zero new entries

None of that even takes into consideration the costs, including the opportunity cost of lost revenue for pursuing real criminals. And the effects on the economy would be considerable, ain’t going to find many Americans to harvest produce in all weather with low pay and few if any extra benefits

Well, we're close to the zero new entries at the moment. And, yes, it will take a decade or more to remove the ones that are here. The best combo is arresting the criminal ones, deporting any that are in prison or jail on completion of sentence, and making it so difficult to work and live in the US that most will self-deport.

The real criminals among illegals will end up arrested at some point. The only thing that has to happen after that is when convicted and they have done their time, they get deported the next day each time, every time. Right now, many of these individuals were released with a final order of deportation that was never executed.

I would also say that tightening immigration law on asylum and other work arounds illegals use to stay in the country are necessary. For example, that Ecuadorian dad and his 5-year-old kid. He applied for asylum. There is ZERO reason someone from Ecuador needs asylum. The government there isn't persecuting the population. Economic hardship is not a reason. So, what's his angle here? The request should be denied out-of-hand and the guy deported.
