If you believe in god, you should be happy that people can be as god made them. God makes some people gay, so you should be happy to fight for their god given rights. Any religious person should be proudly pro gay.
And marriage is a legal and binding contract between 2 people. get a divorce and you will learn that lesson. The court will make all the decisions. They will make sure the woman and children are secure as they can be.
Marriage has always been about money. The European royaly used to merge dynasties or to make allies by marrying off daughters to the right royalty family. That sound religious to anyone?

Americans do not really believe in "rights" granted by some higher being. We see that time and time again. We are currently denying the "rights" of people granted under our own legal system.

No. It's Arizona in the 21st Century, where jack-booted, book-burning liberal mobs of PC thought police patrol the streets looking for any way to portray themselves as victims for having to tolerate actual equality, while persecuting any form of expression that inadequately attacks the rights of white people, Christians, males, and/or Americans.

Notice that this is the opposite of what happens to other religions when they are required to violate their beliefs or be denied the right to work.
