Another Bigoted Liberal Law Illegally Discriminating Against Only One Religion

The practice of law is not a retail outlet like a lunch counter or bakery .. When you go to a lawyer he doesn't have to take your case.

again.....what is the difference between refusing to handle your divorce and refusing to print invitations to a gay facade "wedding"......

I know, right......

You appear to be really childish when you invent quotes.

In much the same way that a client can pick a lawyer that they feel comfortable with, the attorney can refuse to represent a client that they don't feel like they can adequately communicate with. There is no obligation for a client to hire a particular attorney or an attorney to represent a particular client.

You know PMP, a bus is obliged to pick up everyone waiting at the bus stop.. its not the same with lawyers.

But should a bus be required to pick up homosexuals...or blacks, or Mexicans? I mean, if bakers dont have to bake for them, why should bus drivers have to drive them around?

Then your point is even more irrelevant than I initially stated. Not only does it have nothing to do with whether or not religious discrimination is okay, but it doesn't even relate to your original (diversionary) point questioning the validity of people's beliefs. At worst, there is significant evidence that Jesus opposed homosexuality (the list already provided), and none showing that he didn't. No objective analysis could logically conclude the opposite of what all the evidence indicates.

Like I predicted, your point turned out to be completely unrelated and un-supported by the facts. Thanks for demonstrating. Moving on to someone who can actually debate.

“The Bible is the word of God"
"How can you be sure it's the word of God?"
"Because the Bible tells us so"
"Why believe the Bible?
"The Bible is infallible"
"How do you know it's infallible?"...

Faith it the whole idea. I have faith there is a God. I dont need proof. In fact, with proof there would no longer be faith.

They shouldn't have to cite anything. If they don't want to do business with anyone, for any reason whatsoever, they shouldn't have to.

Ifs and shoulds don’t cut it, pally boy. Civil rights and anti-discrimination laws say they do.

Why does such a simple concept escape you?

They're not trying to participate in our society, they're trying to have it both ways by opening their doors to the public in order to increase their potential profit instead of cultivating a smaller private clientele while at the same time desiring to push their private religious views on people in the public domain who have nothing to do with their religion.

Are you arguing that because someone gets away with something in your opinion that two wrongs make a right?

No one is being forced to participate in their lifestyle, they were asked to print some invitations which is what that business does. It's been awhile since I've read the Bible but I do seem to recall something in there about render unto Caesar that which is his and that wasn't just talking about paying your taxes. I don't recall anything about not dealing with gays but perhaps you can refresh my memory on that issue?

Also live and let live

That’s great. The difference is that these extremists are using that circular argument and the “infallible” word of their god to justify discrimination.
