Another aid worker shot by fundamentalists
A female polio worker has been shot dead and her colleague wounded in northwest Pakistan, prompting officials to consider suspending the immunisation programme.
Two attackers opened fire on the UN-backed team on the edge of the city of Peshawar, near the Khyber tribal region.
Senior official Shafiullah Khan said police have started a search operation.
No one has claimed responsibility for the killing, but last year the Pakistani Taliban banned polio vaccinations in the tribal region of Waziristan, alleging the campaign was a cover for espionage.
