President Donald Trump’s legal woes are likely just beginning, and his supporters at “Fox & Friends” got an earful about why during the Thursday broadcast.

Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Andrew Napolitano repeatedly told the morning show’s hosts that the sentencing of former Trump attorney Michael Cohen on Wednesday is sure to cause trouble for the president. Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for multiple violations, including breaking campaign finance law through hush money payments to women who claimed they had sexual affairs with Trump. Prosecutors said Trump directed Cohen to make the payments ahead of the 2016 election.

“A very, very telling statement came out of the judge’s mouth yesterday ... and that was about the president,” Napolitano, a former judge, said on “Fox & Friends.” “The judge finding that the president ordered and paid for Michael Cohen to commit a crime. That is very telling.”

Former Trump Organization attorney Michael Cohen was sentenced Wednesday to 36 months in prison on a variety of charges, and he implicated the president in the crime and coverup — which Giuliani insisted was not a serious violation, reported The Daily Beast.

“Nobody got killed, nobody got robbed,” Giuliani told the website. “This was not a big crime.”

Prosecutors have heard recordings of the president discussing hush money payments with the attorney and National Enquirer publisher David Pecker, who is also cooperating with investigators, but Giuliani compared the apparent felony crimes to parking citations.

“I think in two weeks they’ll start with parking tickets that haven’t been paid,” he said.

If the judge is saying from the bench that Trump is guilty of a crime then yes, I hope Trump would have at least testified otherwise the judge was out of line...if that really is what the judge said.

once again you do not know what you are talking about. Trump will not need to testify until he is arrested or indicted for a crime. This trial wasn't originally about Trump

The trial wasn't about Trump at all. Calling Trump a criminal from the bench violates every ethical standard I'm aware of.
If that's really what the judge said of course.

The judge and the prosecutors are privy to all the documents, and evidence in this case. They know everything, you know nothing.

The perp in front of the judge pled guilty to a felony. This felony was committed with the knowledge, direction and cooperation of Individual #1. Which is a felony too. Too bad for Individual #1, un-indicted co conspirator, President bone spurs, whatever you want to call him.

I think it’s hilarious that they are reduced to arguing that what the president did was “not a big crime”.

It’s pitiful, but funny to me. I lived through the Clinton years when a blowjob was Something to scream ridiculously about, and we all lived through the last election where it was a reason not to vote for Hillary.
