I am a grandmother, I pat, kiss, rub my grandchildren all the time, it isn’t sexual, it’s tenderness, it’s love, it reassurance.

I also did it to my children, who are all now well adjusted adults.

It’s a sad day when we try to turn caring gestures into sexual acts. It diminishes the actual acts of sexual assault usually done in secrecy and under the cloud of threat if the victim ever tells.
