"ICU Occ is the percentage of staffed inpatient adult ICU beds that are occupied period divided by the total number of staffed inpatient adult ICU beds during the 7-day reporting period. Does not include psychiatric, rehabilitation, Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities, Defense Health Agency (DHA) facilities, and religious non-medical facilities."

San Diego is showing 60-70% ICU occupancy (according to the color key, upper right)

That one for San Diego says ICU - 63% occupancy.
A doctor certainly has the right to stop patients from spreading disease to his other patients. There is no right to impose your ignorance on others. Good luck finding a doctor who will allow you to spread a virus ......just because. The doc should forget his education and do what the dumbest of patients tell him.
I got mine early April, so I'm good until December. Of course I had the delta variant, so I'm superman.

Worst case is the office staff gets it and then seeing lots of patients?

How are they supposed to avoid this? Get tested every day because foolish people won't get vaccinated and then expect to be seen at office? Nuts to that. I support this doctor's decision.
