Why would I....I didn't claim that in the first place....what I did do is point out why they are going up....
On December 28, the Emergency Unemployment Compensation program (EUC) expired causing 1.3 million Americans to lose their unemployment benefits.
Federal benefits have returned to their 26 week duration. Two states - Montana (28 weeks) and Massachusetts (30 weeks) - offer benefits for slightly longer. Some states offer them for less than 26 weeks....
The result is evince's touting the numbers and coming to the erroneous conclusion that Obama did something good.....in reality, the loafers, sitting on their
asses and waiting for money for doing nothing are now seeing that money dry up...and they are forced to get their asses out of the lounge chairs and look for jobs....

The statistics just confirm how it compares to Reagan....
Obama in the dark blue line has seen a sustained and violent slump in public sector employment since he became president, and we're not even close to closing the gap.
Reagan had a brief decline in public sector employment, but it came back fast. All the other presidents saw only gains on this measure.
