There are approximately 7.2 million job openings nationwide, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS).
And so what? Do you expect some unemployed person in say, Des Moine, to drive to Jacksonville Florida to apply for that part time job opening at the Whataburger on I-95? And, many jobs go 'unfilled' because they don't pay shit and nobody will work for free. How many are 'commission pay' crappy sales jobs? 'Self-employed subcontractor' scams?
