'regulated' when the framers wrote the constitution meant well trained and working, not government supervised. But you know this and refuse to acknowledge it like a good little statist.

Who's going to train them? Who's going to pay for the training?

'militias' were 'we the people', not a government paid and sponsored unit of military members. That is what the 2nd Amendment protects, the right of 'we the people' to form militia units, made up of ourselves and not under the strict control of a central government.

If my vision of militias is traiterous, then why were they protected by the framers? why have presidents in the past, both republican and democrat, backed the civilian militias and the ideas of 'minutemen' to help protect freedom in this country? and wasn't your war in the 1860s about freeing the slaves and not stamping out militias? you seem extremely confused on the whole history of our nation and our constitution. where did you go to school?
