Thanks mate, On this forum (which seemingly aspires to juvenile insults and blatant racism), it is rare find gems like your post on Chinese and Africa. Good stuff.
Particularly given how foreign news, especially anything remotely to do with Africa is simply kept of the radar of the American corporate media.

This is an example of soft power that the Chinese seem to get, and that our fat, orange President does not. I don't think President "I'm sending and Armada" even knows or cares about soft power. He seemingly has a chimpanzee's level of understanding of the complexity of geopolitics.

On a sidebar, I just recently finished reading Conrad's "Heart of Darkness", and got me off on a tangent to learn more about the Holocaust in the Congo perpetrated by Belgium business interests. Shocking stuff, and makes me realize what a dunce I am with regard to African history. It is a real black hole for me!

If I could speak for Africa, I would tell you about how much your consciousness, humanity, and spirituality are greatly appreciated. Africa is the Garden of Eden for all human life.

Speaking for myself, I can tell you that talking to people like you is why I'm here. You and others here like you are good for my soul, good for my balance.

It took me about 3 months to get through 'Heart of Darkness.' I had to take a break every few pages. I couldn't help but put myself in the place of tortured people. Hard to imagine such horrors.

I agree that this small 'p'resident doesn't have a clue of what he's doing .. but I'll say again that Trump may be the best thing to happen in this country in many years. He's opened up the warts, but I am prouder of Americans and their resistance to hate then I have been in a very long time.

It's not only good talking to you, it's equally good to just listen to what you have to say.

Much respect for you good brother.

Had she won there would be little to no grassroots revival like we are seeing now........ The dirty has poked the hornets nest & stirred ppl up, got them off their butts & out in the streets.;d

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —
Drivers looking to get around the state Capitol on Monday should expect to take detours around downtown Sacramento as rapper Common puts on a show.

The concert, which is scheduled for 5 p.m., already has some streets closed around the capitol.

Capitol Mall and Sixth through 10th streets are all scheduled to be shut down for a majority of the day and into Tuesday morning.

KCRA-TV
Sacramento police advise drivers to plan ahead because traffic will be a nightmare in downtown beginning about 3 p.m. Monday. Some employers are being encouraged to let their staff out early if possible.

Common, a Grammy- and Oscar-winning hip hop artist, will be holding the Imagine Justice concert as a way to reach out to lawmakers in Sacramento to push some bills that would make way for prison reform and help young people serving life sentences for crimes they committed as minors.



Common said he wants to give people a voice and deliver a message of hope and love in Sacramento.

Even though the concert is free, attendees were required to register and are required to have a ticket to enter the event.

The event is scheduled to roll on until 10 p.m.
