Not responsible but to lend a helping hand, just like you'd expect your parents to help you out from time to time, and just like you would help your kids. They expect guidance from people that are much more intelligent, that have gathered years of research on maters.

What exactly is it, you think the job of the government is?

The main thing is to keep order and peace. Sorry, but there is not much order or peace in today's society.

Just read your newspapers, of all the mass murders, suicides, killings, Mothers killing their children, 10 year old kids killing their parents, just so much wrong with our society.

I remember I seen a lady on TV that was talking about her child that was beaten to death and a party for no reason. She wanted to know why 14 year old kids, grow up with so much hate in America.

This is the immoral aspect, the financial woes speak for themselves. People losing jobs and homes, people living paycheck to paycheck, people going bankrupt, people losing their retirement investments.

Does this sound like the government is doing a good job maintaining order and peace?

And why is this happening? Because people like you want less government in your lives.

Instead of bitching and moaning about what people are doing in America, why don't you concentrate on taking care of the perverts you have enrolled in your military; seeing as how burning his uniforms are just part of making him disappear entirely.
I guess Canadians just can't face the fact that they have their own problems to deal with.

See how you side stepped, the debate? Yes we have our problems, but the main problems are originating from American culture turning our kids into little wanna be gangsters, and drug addicts. Not to mention free trade is allowing foreign investors to take over our country. So you see? Our main problem is America.

Actually we elected one to do just that. Apparently he went to New York and had a meeting with the Elites there and came back and said it couldn't be done....I guess they made him an offer he couldn't refuse(The Godfather)....

Free trade hurts America just as much, if not more, then it hurts Canada.

The only thing now is that we have all these immigrants that were brought in for cheap labor via free trade that will be out of a job. Still....I want Free trade stop and I want to regain control of Government infrastructure. We'd have to pull a Mussolini....

Even though you invaded and occupied their land, you cannot force the peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan to copy your foolish governmental structure. Of course, the US military's inability to enforce your policies is partly to blame.

We know that the demise of America is the result of a combination of lack of investment in innovation, poor management, and unsustainable credit policies to finance the childish, short-sighted demands of your ignorant, slothful masses.

Instead, the rise of China's economy, soon to be the largest in the world, will be hastened by the greed of US companies who continue to outsource jobs and investment.

This has a direct bearing on the scarcity of employment in the US even though it has helped improve the profitability of those companies.

Your greed has provided the opportunity for China's rise.
