Trump always evades responsibility. It's one of his biggest priorities, with anything he does. Make sure others are to blame.

But you have to be a fool to think he wasn't the main reason 1/6 happened. I don't know why people bend over backwards to protect that guy.
 
These hearings will be entertaining, informative, and at least partially watched by the majority of Americans, but just like everything else in this country, in two weeks they will be old news, even if they picture what most already know, we are a country of instant gratification

It's only real effect will be on Democrats, coupled with is going to be controversial SCOTUS rulings due out this month, and the Committee's Final Report in the Fall, it should mobilize what is predicted now to be a low turnout for Democrats and Independents. If God Himself descended upon Earth and busted the Big Lie the MAGA militia, and a good proportion of Republicans, still wouldn't believe Trump lied, so these hearings aren't going to alter their view
