America is GREAT!

america was great in the past because people had a future to look forward too. That their kids would do better than they do. THey dont have that now.

America will be great again when we have a future to believe in :)

That's so foolish. Nobody can predict the future. We can't even predict the weather let alone what's going to happen 30 years from now.

It resonates w/ many ppl............ Probably because they heard it before......

He didn't plagiarize it

Perhaps you're too young to remember the Carter years. Between The Obama and Carter I can't decide who was worse.

I recall......... Did that have something to do w/ the topic or the trumpf stealing that campaign slogan?? Pathetic, IMHO, a damn billionaire can't buy his own line?? :(

Like i mentioned if things are great clinton fans have nothing to worry about. No one will listen to outsiders like Trump and Sanders and we will be well on our way to our next round of the Bush and Clinton wars.

70% say the country is going in the wrong direction.
Interestingly, 70% favorable to djt l ast night

Pretending there are not grave issues confronting us is either disingenuous or gross ignorance.

And since you are otherwise complaining about the ones you think you can pin on the right, I think we know where you are coming from.

I made the point about how trump was making hay with what no one had ever had the nads to suggest (no longer great). The only way he gets to do that is when people know we are no longer great.

Credit down grade
Military losing ground to China and India
Put in playing us like a fiddle
Slowest recovrry in history

Ah poor baby.

Is loser having a hard life?

What does that mean in the context of this?

It's the same type of question as "Do you still beat your wife?". He'll use a no answer to his question to blame you for not having done better under what he'll say Obama has done and a yes answer as to give Obama credit for it.

The only thing Trump has to fear, is not enough fear!

Prove it, racist.

The biggest thing you fear is racist programs like affirmative action and freeloading programs like food stamps going away. With the former, you'll actually have to get hired based on what you can do not the color of your skin. With the latter, you'll have to actually provide for yourself the things you should be providing for yourself.

What about SS?? Medicade?? The VA??

What about SS?? Medicade?? The VA??

SS is nothing but another redistribution of wealth program benefiting the lower incomes at the expense of the higher incomes.

Medicaid or Medicare? Can't tell is you meant to put an "r" instead of a "d" or an "i" between the "a" and "d".

Someone that has SERVED and qualified for care at the VA has EARNED every penny of it.

Take your pick.......

So no SS??

I prefer you clarify since you posted the original question.

As for SS, as long as people have the CHOICE to opt out, it can stay. The thing is those that opt out, and they are the ones that fund the distributions today, wouldn't have to contribute to it anymore.

My contention and the reason I said what I said about SS is that a person contributing at an income 4x higher than another person with all else being equal, does not get in distributions 4x that of the other person. I ran a few numbers on the SS website calculator. It was an estimate but proved my point. I put in the same birth date and "retirement" date for two scenarios. The only difference was the income amount. I used $25k and $100k, one being 4x the other. The results didn't produce a 4x greater distribution. It was about 250% higher ($1125 range vs. $2500 range)

Why shouldn't someone putting in at a rate 4x higher get 4x/month when both start getting out?

OK, both..........

Not it isn't "equal" but it was never intended to be was it??

I don't think ppl should be able to opt out & the reason is~what if they blow it all & are indigent, they will not be left on the street to die & you know it..... We will be giving them free food & meds till the day they die........
