America IS ENERGY INDEPENDENT!

Dude this woman looks like she can beat your ass. Beware.

Nothing special, there must be 30 or more women in this dept store that look like they've stepped off a catwalk.

America has always been energy independent at being the top oil producer of the world, with untapped oil reserves that the powers have yet to release, and not only oil either but other potentials of untapped energy too.

Depends on what you call energy independent. I was using the fact that we produce more than we use.

I was wrong, AMERICA IS ENERGY INDEPENDENT, the result of a Trent that started back in 2016!

We should be happy about this!

From your link, dipshit:

"the single largest factor in that will be that oil and natural gas production have yet to return back to pre-Covid-19 levels. But demand has recovered, and therein lies the reason."

Oil and natural gas production cannot return to pre-Covid levels because the president has hamstrung the industry.

The thing that is getting everyone's attention is the price.

We either produce or have the capability to produce all the energy we need.

But we can get it cheaper buying foreign.

So that's what we do.

Now the supply has been interrupted so we have to use the more expensive domestic stuff. Hence, the higher prices.

If you want to reduce your costs for energy, then do things to conserve.

Change your habits.

Are you in control of your habits?

Or are your habits in control of you.

I posted an entire article about it.

Here's the problem with old articles, from the article:
"But we don’t actually know if, once the full year of 2021 has been accounted for, we lost our energy independence for the year."

I also laughed when I read about how you define energy independence. When people start playing with definitions I start getting suspicious

I understand, but if we bumped out of that category, we know it would not be by much. My point, is that after a decade of consistent and steady improvement (started in the Obama years) we are very close to, if not fully energy independent. To suggest that Biden reversed that trend dramatically in 12 months is simply very silly.

From what I understand that foreign oil is cheaper because its not refined. That done here and either exported back out or stored here.

The problem for me is some seem to think "energy independence" will be achieved with electric solar or wind. moving toward nuclear would solve most of our problems.
