Representative democracy is a form of democracy. It's what we are.
We're also a Constitutional Republic. Both things are true.
Enough of "we're not a democracy." Democratic principles are the foundation of our system, and we're one of the world's shining examples of democracy. It's so telling that we've started hearing "we're not a democracy" from just one side of the aisle in recent years.
It's because democracy doesn't work for their more extreme agenda these days.
We are also a Democratic Republic! It is a matter of Semantics as all of these are true.
But, you will never get a Butt-hurt Republican to agree with you or me!
Because Republitards have a problem with any word that has Democrat in part of it's spelling, or even the use of the word Democracy used in a phrase, because the word Democracy, even though the word is a completely different and separate entity of it's own definition, sounds all too much like Democrat.
THIS IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF JUST HOW FOOLISH, PETTY, IGNORANT, Out-of-touch, and hatefully blinded and biased the Republican Party is!
It's like they just want to fight- even with a dictionary- even with common knowledge- if it don't play into their hateful agenda!

For example: Now watch how they jump on their use of the word REPUBLIC- Because it sounds close the word REPUBLICAN USING THE SAME silly FOOLISH, PETTY, IGNORANT, Out-of-touch, and hatefully blinded and biased REPUBLITARDED logic.
It is also just one example of how the Republicans think- that gives them a feeling of Superiority over Democrats and everybody else, by omitting words like Democracy and Democratic completely from their vocabulary! It is part of their silly quest to "OWN THE DEMOCRATS" which is totally impossible to begin with.
