All you Tea Party rebellion folks....

Do you think Tipper was right or wrong?

Did the fact the some people from both sides thought it was true mean it wasnt true?

Yes people believe rap lyrics promote violence and that transcends political boundries.

I happen to love rap music so I don't really care if it does or not as long as they don't ban it.

Edit: Yurt was right you were once again being dishonest and race baiting and you got called on it.

And again, you are welcome to believe whatever... I can't stop ya!

When your Liberal heroes start losing elections left and right, and you watch a super-majority in Congress vanish before your very eyes, perhaps you will come around. It suits me fine for you to not take this seriously... but I have to wonder, if you aren't concerned or worried, why are you resorting to such gutter politics here? Is it just natural for you to be a slimeball and lie? Does this kind of absolute garbage just spew uncontrollably from you?
No... If you weren't worried about the Tea Party, you'd be here bragging about how great your poll numbers are, and pointing out how little support the Tea Party has... there wouldn't be a 'need' to lie and distort... unless you're just a compulsive liar who can't help it. Actually, that might be the case with you, all of this shit is just a reflection of what kind of sleaze you are, and you really aren't worried about a thing... but I think most of the left IS worried, IS concerned, and IS acting in desperation to try and mitigate the damage and stop the momentum of the Tea Party. And I firmly believe that is going to fail miserably in November... it's only a few months away, we will see what happens.

Can you show me exactly where I have resorted to gutter tactics and lied? Can you post the garbage I have spewed uncontrollably?

His point Desh is that you tried to label an issue that was bipartisan as some sort of "evil" thing the RIGHT did.

Where did I say anything was negative about the idea?

YOU assumed it was negative because you dont see anything someone on the left says as anything but negative.

I think words matter and I was trying to show the right USED to think they mattered too.

Right up until it was politically expedient for them to NOT think they mattered.

You guys are so funny. You do this all the time... one of you makes an absurd and outrageous allegation, to which the rest of you agree and slap him on the back for posting, then you argue that you never said that... it was someone else... you are above the fray... can't pin those comments on you, no sir!

The fact that you are even entertaining the absurd notion that Tea Party people have a damn thing to do with Tim McVeigh, or in any way support his actions! THAT is the garbage and lies I am talking about you spewing uncontrollably!

That's interesting. If you read the thread, you'll see that I took Jarod to task for the OP.

But why bother with the truth? It's easier to just make stuff up, I'm sure.

So Dixie, you are now against armed rebellion unless they take away the right to vote?

Still, not as funny as you are!!

You made the allegation, now how's about for ONCE in your miserable, misbegotten life you actually back up an allegation with some corroborating facts???

good points

i've shown you this numerous times

Well, how about showing me again? Since you feel compelled to jump in & defend Dixie on this allegation, show me where on this thread I have spewed slime on the Tea Party by linking them to McVeigh, and where I slapped Jarod on the back for a great post?

Have at it, Yurt. Show me where; post some verbiage.

I've always been against armed rebellion as long as we have the ballot box. I actually think this is one of the greatest things about America. It's the mechanism that prevents us having to take up arms to settle political disputes, and it has worked pretty well over the years.

One reason I don't (intellectually) think the Tea Party will ever react with violence, is the fact that they fully know and understand you would LOVE for that to happen! It would give you the moral justification to declare Socialist Marshal Law and take full control of everything.

you are full of shit Desh.... you were race baiting....

from you earlier....

Remember the days when Rs would talk of how much violence rap lyrics caused?

I guess that only applys to black people in their minds

you tried to make it out that Reps were racist and only cared about words when BLACK people used them.

read my post again and pay particular attention to the words i bolded and underlined....once again proving me right on your projection, telling me i have reading comprehension issues, yet you show us all once again, that you are merely projecting

:)

Sure, Yurtsie. You jump into the middle of the conversation & add your voice to Dixie's claim against me, and now you can't back it up. Stepped in it, once again. It's what you do.

I understand you're sensitive about the reading comprehension thing, since I'm sure you're aware of it on some basic level, but this isn't helping you. Now, THAT is projecting.

you tried to make it out that Reps were racist and only cared about words when BLACK people used them.

So you infered that reps only think words matter when it comes to black violence?

I think you have something their SP.

They did used to care about words when it came to black people and now think the words dont matter becuase it might get in the way of their political aims.

ONZIES LIE: It's just that you've been promising 'backlash' for years. For Bolton...

Right here in this very thread, just a few posts back, you told an outright lie. I never said there would be "backlash" from Bolton. In fact, I never predicted any such "backlash" over Bush or Cheney, I have explained exactly what happened there, and the only thing in recent memory I can recall predicting "backlash" over is Sarah Palin. Now, you can argue there hasn't been any backlash over Palin, but tell me... how unlikely is it, the losing VP candidate of the man who is fighting to hold his Senate seat, is the current front-runner for the right? The more shit you spew against Palin, the more wildly popular she becomes... THAT is backlash!

Does this make sense to anyone else based on the posts prior to this?

Here is what I said.

everything else you people infered yourselves to avoid admitting that words matter.

Words do matter.
