Federal prosecutors in Michigan have charged a man with making a death threat against one of the attorneys for a whistleblower who initiated the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump, according to newly unsealed court records.

The man, Brittan J. Atkinson, allegedly emailed the attorney in November, calling him a “traitor” who “must die a miserable death.” The attorney, Mark Zaid, confirmed to POLITICO that he received the email the day after Trump held up Zaid’s photo and read some of Zaid’s tweets during a rally.

“All traitors must die miserable deaths,” reads the email to Zaid that was sent on November 7. “Those that represent traitors shall meet the same fate. We will hunt you down and bleed you out like the pigs you are. We have nothing but time, and you are running out of it. Keep looking over your shoulder."

Trump has tweeted about the whistleblower more than five dozen times since September, accusing the person of being part of the “deep state” and alleging that he gave the Intelligence Community inspector general false information.

The guy should sue the living shit out of Trump for damages.

Trump and his goons remind me of the brown shirts

The people who support Donald Trump remind me of the Brownshirts who supported Adolf Hitler: They don’t care what he says as long as his voice is loud and his words are volatile. Those Germans of the 1930s were frustrated and angry, and they wanted someone to blame.

And Hitler urged them on and gave them what they wanted.

Dungboy might have a chance in the millenium. Dungboy will remember these words when/ if Dungboy repents if he gets that chance.

Well, well, well.
It looks like Satan has brought back 'iewitness' to the JPP Politics forum. (I wonder what His plans are???)

He won't be disbarred because he did nothing to be disbarred for.

And Trump doesn't have any control over that process.

It’s ok for lawyers to publicly call for a coup? They shouldn’t at least get a reprimand from the Bar Association?

Who knew.

The word coup was almost certainly used figuratively.

Just saying "Coup has started" is a far cry from actually issuing a serious public call to overthrow the government. There is no way that any court or bar association would ever interpret that casual remark as a serious call for sedition.

Your attempt to equate the two is laughable, desperate and weak.

I hope that guy has guards.

But Zaid called for a coup; first of many steps [nailed that one lol] and impeachment would follow ultimately.

He not only called it—he played a part in it. Impeachment did follow and it was both desperate and weak.

He obviously knew what we all knew - that Trump was going to be a disaster and would eventually cross the line and force Congress to do its sworn duty.

There was nothing desperate or weak about it.

Trump is a traitor and a criminal.

The fucking coward Nomad speaks. Prove the control I have over you, boy. Prove that the reason you went into hiding was because your challenge was accepted and you knew you'd made a mistake.

You know how to prove it. Your master has spoken. Get to it.
