The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) closed at an all-time high of 45,631.74 on Friday, August 22, 2025. This record close was the first for the Dow in 2025 and was driven by a significant stock market surge after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell hinted at potential interest rate cuts. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 also hit record highs on the same day.

Things just aren't working out the 19% ers....are they?
