ALL cops are EEEVIL...STY says so!

trying to make the distinction that these two are so wildly different things as such that i'm making it up is wholly indicative that you don't have a leg to stand on.

still can't define it though, eh?

But they are wildly different things and it's your fear that won't let you admit that you lied.

This fear of "all cops" is irrational to the point I don't even believe it.

[Snarl! Spittle!] "I don't fear any cop!"

I believe STY hates "all cops", mostly like due to a traumatic case of butthurt over a parking or traffic ticket episode in which he is certain he was the victim of outrageous injustice.

He seems to want a society free of law enforcement on the premise that he can take care of himself. Yet who will enforce those little things like stop sign laws (probably the root of his anger) that allow the society we take for granted? Vigilante justice doesn't allow for investigation of past crimes, or at least not in any meaningful fashion.

And... oh, screw it. This topic is just too stupid to continue with.

He reminds me of a guy, where I live.
He lived in a remote area and while he was gone for the weekend, someone or more then one broke into his shed and stole a quad.
When he returned on Monday, he called the cops and they told him to stay there and they would send someone by to take the report.
Well, he didn't stay and when they came by, he wasn't there.
When he finally returned, he contacted the PD office and complained that the Officers hadn't stayed there until he returned.

He was so irate, over his feelings of the PD not doing their "job", that he ran for city council and then tried to dismantle the entire PD and give the Sheriff's department the job of policing the town.

Well, that didn't work either and he was the people voted him off of the council.

STY reminds me exactly of him.

As kooky as that guy sounds, he's infinitely more rooted in reality than STY. He at least recognized a need for law enforcement.

These discussions are little more than mental masturbation for these anarchist/libertarians types, who have virtually been denied a platform for their social formula anywhere on the planet.

Whatever problems law enforcement may have, they are more than compensated for by the freedoms they provide. You can get on a plane, travel anywhere in the world, and not have to worry about the virtual certainty of returning a month later and finding out your home was completely sacked by a band of marauding looters.

You can go to the store.
You can go to work and earn money.

STY is obviously some sort of survivalist loon living on a farm somewhere, sitting on the porch of his shotgun shack eying the horizon suspiciously, wearing tattered clothes because he hasn't been into town in decades. He has no interest in the world beyond his property line, a prisoner of his own warped mind.

And probably the greatest irony of it all is that he considers himself "freer" than the rest of us.
