Actually, I was just jerking Jarods chain to see if he would continue the argument for another 100 posts. He seemed to catch on to that... too bad you did not. You really need to develop a better sarcasm detector. I would use a smiley to help you out, but then I would have to listen to you and darla whining about conservatives using smileys too much.

As for Limbaugh, I could care less what he says. He is another Michael Moore, Al Franken, Sean Hannity, Keith Olbermann, Ann Coulter etc.... just a talking head looking for self promotion. All of the above are fucking morons. The fact that so many of you pay close attention to everything these idiots spout out is quite sad.

3D, don't get wound up in the rhetoric of the left over this. They have hated Rush for years and have desperately looked for a way to not just minimize him, but decimate him. They will not relent on this until they've reduced Rush to absolute nothing, even if they have to outright lie about him.

Hey! You let us a lone. Rush Limbaugh has about 20 million people who like him and about 200 million people who despise him. He's inadvertenly made his fat extremist ass the face of the Republican party and Democrats are just absolutely delighted about it. He's set the Republican party back about 5 years, at least, and because he's not an office holder there's damned little the Republican party can do about it. It's just a hillareous situation if your a Democrat! :)

Reduce him? Minimize him? Rush is one of the best thing Democrats have going for him. He's one of the most unpopular persons in the nation. Particularly with the under 40 crowd and minorities. He's putting more Democrats in office than the AFC-CIO! LOL

They are trying not to minimize but to inflate his importance. How often would you make a decision because of Rush? Yet they attempt to make him the "leader" of the party.

If he was, McCain wouldn't have been the candidate. That should be the first clue he isn't leading squat. However, if they can get him to be the "leader" in people's minds they can far more easily marginalize the already minority republicans in Congress by dismissing anything they say as something from "Rush".

Rush will eat it up because it enriches him.

Why are you attempting to minimize his influence?

That stimulus vote was all Rush. You've got Congresspeople & the leader of the party apologizing for criticizing him, and asserting his importance to Republicans. You can see pieces of Rush's diatribes showing up almost verbatim in statements and interviews w/ politicians.

Rush, more than anyone, IS the leader of the GOP right now. He's calling the shots.
