Let me try and save all of us 800 posts with SF insisting that Obama said it, until eventually you say that Obama said that Republicans can't listen to Rush Limbaugh (when trying to come up with economic policy), and SF concludes with: Right, that's what I said, thanks for playing.
Rahm Emanual said that Rush is the leader of the Republican party, in the middle of psych-opping them over the weekend, after which they promptly danced to Emanual's commands and began a big inter-party brawl. Barack Obama never said that Rush was the leader of the R party, he did tell them they can't "just listen to Rush".
It's hysterical. Great move putting him in charge of the R party. If Republicans can't even stand up to Rush Limbaugh, how are they going to stand up to the terrorists?
That's an interesting way to characterize his comments. Warped, but interesting.
He told congressional Republicans that they shouldn't be taking their marching orders from Rush if they want to get anything done, which is pretty sage advice.
