I am saying Christian doctrine is not found in the OT. Do you understand what you're even discussing?
But the 10 Commandments are from the OT...are you claiming the 10 Commandments aren't Christian doctrine?

Correct.
Pretty tortured interpretation
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
wow. you are truly wrong. extremely wrong. what did jesus say about abolishing the law?
What did Jesus say about fulfilling the Law?
what? not true, not even close. i suggest reading up on who jesus really is.
answer my question.
Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law. Now answer mine. What did Jesus say about fulfilling the Law?
This is where even a lot of Christians miss the boat. The scriptures say the law if fulfilled in Jesus and everyone who has Faith in the works of Jesus are saved. The law still judges. If you are not a believer then you are on your own when you stand before God and God judges you according to the law. You're gonna have to be perfect like Jesus and I've got a clue for ya....you ain't gonna make it. Christians will never be judged by the law because they are saved by faith in Jesus Christ. That's what the bible says and I can show you if you need to see it.
he came to fulfill the law. you state, on the one hand, that 'christian' doctrine is not found in the OT and in the other hand that jesus did not abolish the law. jesus is in the OT, nothing was made without him. i don't understand how you can say there is no 'christianity' in the OT, when the OT contains information about jesus, prophecies about jesus and the fact that nothing was made on this earth without him.
That is not the point.
The point is that someone with a twisted enough belief system and a powerful enough hatred for the non-believers COULD use that verse to justify BURNING non-believers.
Correct.
Jesus is in the OT and the OT mentions by prophecy The Church, but the epistles are letters of instruction to The Church. The Church did not come into being until after Jesus rose from the dead and the Holy Spirit was sent on the Day of Pentecost. The Day of Pentecost is the beginning of The Church.
Riiiiiiiiiiight...the 10 Commandments are so unimportant...that's why Christians are always trying to get them displayed in public places where everyone can read them.
...the 10 Commandments are a part of the very heart of Christian doctrine.
Your desperate need to be right all the time has got you lying to cover your lies.

I can twist verses to make it look like Jesus is telling you to hang yourself, but I know that would be a lie. We don't have to do that with the Koran. There is clear instruction to kill the infidel, chop off the head of the infidel, and much more violence directed at Christians and Jews.
Show us where Jesus ever told his disciples or followers to do that crap.
christianity is just a word. the "church" is not a word. the "church" existed in the OT. who is the 'son of man'? who did daniel see in the lion's den?
