Alienate just one more old "Bone Spur" and who cares!

Bone Spur has alienated enough Republican Senators now that he effectively no longer holds a majority in the Senate.

The "Republicans" have a majority, but no longer are a majority of Senators loyal to old "Bone Spur".

This is why I don't want "Bone Spur" impeached at least until next year... I think Pence would have a governing majority and might actually get some things accomplished.

"Bone Spur" won the election, but his personality and lies have cost him the ability to do much with it.

Don't be so sure with that. Corker and Flake were in trouble long before Trump was elected. Both did not live up to voter expectations and both probably would not survive a primary. Corker is the architect of the bill that flipped the treaty clause on it's ear and allowed senate backing of the Iran deal. Flake has pissed off his constituency by running as conservative and acting as anything but.

Those two were McConnell boys thru and thru. And a good deal of conservatives hate those types.

But when you add McCain, you see without one of the Three "Bone Spur" wont get anything done in the Senate.

While not public about it Lisa Murkowski dislikes "Bone Spur" because of the threats he made against her during the Obamacare repeal fiasco.

So it appears GayRod is saying that these so called "principled" conservatives hate Trump so much they won't do what they promised their constituents? Seems to say more about them than it does Trump.

The record shows many times that Murkowski, Collins and McShamnesty claiming that they would REPEAL Obamacare. When push came to shove they did not. So according to GayRod the only reason they didn't is because they were too childish and were angry at Trump?

Okey dokey

You think they promised their constitutants that they would be loyal to "Bone Spur"?

Are you saying the democrats having accomplished nothing for the people that elected them during the first 10 months of 2017 expect at least a hand full of republicans to go on paid vacation with them, and you are expecting them to stay on course over the next 3 + years? I wonder who has to be worried about being re-elected, when All those people that are supposedly saved by Obama Care aren't covered by anything? I'd say the closer to the mid-terms the nation gets the better the odds of the GOP is of winning this child like holding your breath contest.....the dems are the party of cut and run and will turn blue and begin breathing again other than take the chance of losing their seat on the gravy train.

Nope. But, I think they promised their constituents that they would repeal Obamacare. They promised their constituents that they would cut funding to Planned Parenthood.

Here is their real problem with Trump. He has exposed their duplicity to voters.

We will see, but making sure nothing happened worked for the Rebutlikins for the last 4 years of Obama's term.

They would, if they could get a good bill up before Congress. "Bone Spur" and his crew refused to do that!

They said, its my way or the Highway, they chose the Highway! Good for them!

McCain is pissing people off as well back home. He ran on, and voted for, Repeal of the ACA. The campaign ads and interviews are available. He also voted for it last time it came up for a vote. McCain is being vindictive for personal reasons. He has no more elections to win. Kelli Ward came closet to knocking him off in the last primary of any McCain challenger ever.

And are you assuming that the dems will take the seats? 2 of those come from a state that strongly went for trump.

Both Murkowski and McCain voted for it in 2015. Collins was the only no vote back then so she is no surprise this time. The other two? Looking at the 2016 senate elections.

I am not assuming that, I dont know who will get those seats. I think the retirements will make it easier on the Democrats, but I dont know that that is enough.

I really dont care what their reason it, I am just glad they are doing the right thing... Having nothing to lose politically sure seems to free people up to do the right thing. Maybe term limits are a good idea.

Actually you lie. Here is the list of Republicans who voted to repeal Obamacare in 2015 with no replacement. They could have just done that. Trump would have signed it

Notice that McCain and Murkowsky are on the Yay list?
Collins is on the Nay list

Let's see you spin that

The entire premise of your OP was their reason for doing it. You claim that it is Trumps fault they are turning their backs on their promises. Now you claim not to care. I don't expect you to agree with the policies. You lost the election. Elections have consequences. You are supposed to lose. But conservative voters are holding people like Corker and Flake accountable. Americans don't want the country overrun with cheap labor from other countries. They have spoken

as for term limits, it would appear that the voters of Arizona and Tennessee took care of the terms of Flake and Corker. No need for laws. Just like a stupid liberal. Always wanting a new law

The ones that changed their vote from their 2015 vote knew it didn't matter then and it would be vetoed by Obama. When it comes to actually doing what they campaigned on doing, they showed the type people they are.

While I think S. Collins is nothing more than a RINO POS, at least she was consistent and you knew where she stood.

1) I dont think they are turning their backs, I know that is the Bone Spur talking point, but it aint true.
2) I would not care if they were, I am just glad they are doing the right thing by America.
