He makes the legal point "corruptive influence" is very subjective -if that's what it comes down to for an Obstruction Impeachment

You ought to as if any of this bullshit sticks it will sure as hell be used in future for a Democratic President. As he says in the interview the law operates on precedent and anything used against Trump will be used again. If you want to turn the US into a banana republic then go ahead, but you should know what is really going on. I can understand someone like Buckley because he's a lunatic but you strike me as mostly sane except on this matter.

I don't think Mueller is going after Trump on obstruction---or at all.
He almost can't, because of his association with Comey. Rosenstein must have concluded there's no 'there' there on obstruction or he wouldn't have selected Mueller.

You may not care for his opinion on this issue, but Alan Dershowitz is respected across partisan lines. If democrats were smart they'd pay attention to him because if Mueller was appointed to go after Trump on obstruction, the investigation will be tainted.

But would he be that stupid lol?
It would be hubris on steroids. It's not even an official investigation [depending on how much stock you put in WashPo's sources] and there's murmurings that the investigation would be tainted due to conflict of interest. So Mueller can forget about impeachment.
Maybe more importantly, it would give Trump justification to nix the whole thing. And if that were to happen, Mueller will have sacrificed his alleged integrity---for nothing.
I'm not buying it.
Given the circumstances and stakes, it seems (IMHO) that Mueller would be bending over backwards to 'appear' that he's looking at every infinitesimal thing while knowing the odds are stacked against him to actually find anything worthy of an offense. This should appease the libs at the same time he's clearing Trump.
