alabama is rethinking its immigration law after an embarassing oops

You'll never get doublewide Dixie to surrender! The South will rise again! Fergit, Hell! Yee-haw!

The H-1B is a non-immigrant visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act, section 101(a)(15)(H). It allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations. If a foreign worker in H-1B status quits or is dismissed from the sponsoring employer, the worker must either apply for and be granted a change of status to another non-immigrant status, find another employer (subject to application for adjustment of status and/or change of visa), or leave the United States.

The H-2B visa nonimmigrant program permits employers to hire foreign workers to come temporarily to the U.S. and perform temporary nonagricultural services or labor on a one-time, seasonal, peakload or intermittent basis.

You're absolutely wrong. It will absolutely solve the problem and solve it quickly and I could give a rats ass how it impacts the unethical and immoral pricks businesses who break the law in order to exploit cheap and illegal labor. That is a non-issue. Fuck them! THEIR CRIMINALS!!!! Am I going to worry about how arresting a drug kingpen is going to affect the economy and focus on arresting the mules instead? Fuck no! That makes absolutely no sense at all!

I'll ask you again, explain what happens to the displaced workers who no longer have sources of income? Do they magically get teleported back to Mexico? Fine, you don't really give a shit if we no longer have commercial businesses harvesting produce and stuff, and have to import it instead, I get that... I don't mind paying $5 for a head of lettuce, I don't eat that much of it... but let's be realistic about what we are doing here. If Acme Produce can no longer make a profit from hiring illegals, they go out of business, and as a result, hundreds of other people down the line, no longer have jobs, people who ARE here legally, truck drivers, stockers, salesmen, advertisers, accountants... all the OTHER people related to the business enterprise you just killed... what about them? What about those jobs?

After you've implemented this policy, and millions of illegal aliens effectively have NO source of income, and no way to earn an income here, what do you think they will do? Well, if Mexico was bustling with jobs and opportunity, they might choose to go back home, but things in Mexico are much worse than here. If you are illegal and broke with no job in America, why would you make the decision to return home, where there would be absolutely nothing for you? Even cutting their income source out, they can still obtain falsified documents and get government aid and assistance, this is happening already. Even cutting their livelihood out from under them, they can still walk into any emergency room and get medical treatment, they couldn't do this in Mexico. Until you explain to me how all of this would work out, I can't just accept that it would magically solve our problems. As I said, as part of a COMPREHENSIVE plan, which addresses several other areas as well, your idea is good, and I agree we should enforce these laws just like we should enforce other immigration laws. But your idea as a stand-alone, would be a disaster, and only creates a BIGGER problem!

They don't get to even this level of refinement in alabubba community college of physc and tractor repair.
visa worker equals immigrant-priceless

Alabama's attorney general has become the highest ranking Republican official to suggest throwing out parts of his state's tough new immigration law, as he recommended that lawmakers repeal some portions of the statute that have been put on hold by federal courts and clarify some others.

In a letter to legislative leaders, Attorney General Luther Strange said the proposed changes would make the law "easier to defend in court" and "remove burdens on law-abiding citizens."

The private letter, acquired by The Associated Press, represents the first time the attorney general has expressed concerns since he started defending the law against a federal court challenge..

Strange recommended repealing a section that makes it a crime for an illegal immigrant to fail to carry registration documents. That section has been put on hold temporarily by a federal court. Strange said it "adds little in terms of enforcement" because federal law already makes it a crime and repealing it would allow police "to focus on more important aspects of the law."

He also suggested repealing the requirement that public schools collect information on the immigration status of students.

I went to school at Auburn in Alabama. The state has some good qualities but the stereotypes are also well deserved!
