alabama is rethinking its immigration law after an embarassing oops

seems two non-immigrant foreigners got caught by the law, but one was german and the other japanesse - both representatives of companies that had invested billions of dollars in alabama auto plants...oops

LMAO... There is no such thing as a "non-immigrant foreigner" ....that is a contradiction of terms. If they are foreign, they ARE an immigrant. Now, they might be legal immigrants or illegal immigrants, but you failed to make this distinction. I want you to work on this, repeat after me... ILLEGAL immigrants are people who entered the country illegally and broke the law.... LEGAL immigrants are here legally and no one has a problem with that. It's very important that we get this through your excessively thick head, because it's making you look like a complete idiot. Alabama has never had a law which prohibits legal immigrants from living or working here, or attending school. They did recently pass a law to combat illegal immigration, which is distinctly different from legal immigration, because you see... someone BROKE THE LAW by coming here illegally. I know this is hard for a retarded person like yourself to comprehend, but if you live in another country and want to move to the United States, we have an immigration process, and if you don't follow that process, and you still come to the United States, you have broken the law. Laws are these things that civilized societies pass, in order to maintain civility and prevent chaos. It's somewhat important that we enforce laws, even though it may seem unfair at times.

I hope this little lesson has helped you to understand, Schitforbrains!

German and Japanese? Alabubbans haven't forgotten WWII, it seems - except doublewide Dixie.

Too bad the trailer park posse couldn't round up an Italian. They were 1/3 of the Axis.

From the news article above:

Although legally in the United States, German Mercedes-Benz executive Detlev Hager was arrested in Tuscaloosa in November after failing to provide a passport or driver's license required by the law. The charges were later dropped. Then this week, a Japanese worker assigned to the Honda assembly plant in nearby Lincoln was ticketed for not having proper identity documents. :palm:

Alabubbans are two fucking stupid to let the billionaires go and just takes illegals. Shocking?

Awww topper, are you pissed because Bama gets another shot at LSU?

The law they passed is draconian. I am always reminded that the police in Alabama can stop you and demand to see your papers. Sound like Americas to anyone?

Expecting common sense from an alabubba jack booted thug is expecting too much. Asking Americans for papers feels Gestapo to me.

Wrong Dixie...at any given time there are millions of foreigners who are not immigrants in this country; they are called visiters.

You are O.K. with foreign businessmen getting falsely arrested in your state?

When they passed a law about illegal immigrants, they thought it was just Arabs and Mexicans. Them japs and crouts are okay these days.

Wrong fuckwit. Foreigners are people from somewhere other than here, immigrants are people from somewhere other than here, who now live here. Legal immigrants have followed the immigration laws, and illegal immigrants have broken said laws. Alabama (and the right) has no problem with foreigners, or legal immigrants. The law passed is to enforce immigration laws, and catch those who are breaking them.

Also, the people involved in this story were not businessmen or billionaires. They were people who worked for a German and Japanese auto maker. Once clarification was obtained of their status, the charges were dropped and they were free to go.

These are your words.

"LMAO... There is no such thing as a "non-immigrant foreigner" ....that is a contradiction of terms. If they are foreign, they ARE an immigrant."

This statement is incorrect, regardless of how you try to twist and spin it.

I couldn't agree with you more. We all know that all we need to do is put a couple of CEO's who employ illegals in prison for 6 months and fine them $250,000 and the illegal immigrant problem is solved! I aint about to give up my freedom cause some Bubba doesn't like Mexicans.

Okay, so in your little fucked up world, people who come to America to visit, get jobs in auto assembly plants? Regardless, if you want to play the obtuse game, I can play along.... Technically, those are NOT my words, they were typed by you, which makes them your words, but technically, they aren't your words, they belong to the English language, but technically, they don't belong to the English, I think the origins are Arabic. So regardless of how you want to twist it and spin it, you are still a pathetic dumbass who is out of your league.

Why do you ignorant fuckers continue to insist that people hate Mexicans because they wish to enforce the laws?

Stopping people and asking to see their papers sounds like something that would take place in Nazi Germany, not the United States of America. This isn't the way to reduce/stop illegal immigration.

Well, if that was what was happening, I could see your point. The thing is, that is NOT what is happening, or what the law allows. You see, in Nazi Germany, they literally DID detain people and ask for their papers, but here, it is only if you are stopped for violation of some law, that you can even be asked for your papers. Do you understand the difference? In one case, the government is allowed to detain you based on how you look or if they think you appear suspicious, in the other case, you have already been detained for violation of the law. These don't even sound remotely similar.
