AI is just the latest in an ongoing technological revolution that neither you nor I can fully see the outcome of.
Digressing, there are four periods of history when it comes to technology:
The ancient age. Much the basic technology we still use was invented in this era. It was invented, lost, reinvented, and spread slowly.
The Renaissance. This was the age where science and innovation became recorded and refined with standardization. The scientific method and printing press are typical. It meant that all the knowledge and technology we already had could be codified and spread with increasing ease.
The industrial age. Mankind found new sources of energy to couple to existing machines making then far more efficient and productive. New means of optimizing production were found like the assembly line. Access to information and knowledge took an exponential leap forward.
The electronics revolution / age. Starting about 1850, electricity started to come into play. As this age progresses, electronic devices have been invented and coupled to machines to make them more and more autonomous in operation. Information and knowledge are taking another exponential leap forward.
Right now, were roughly--and this is very rough--about where the Industrial age was in 1675 to 1700. The electronics age has yet to play out. What comes next in technology is anyone's guess, but another revolution beyond the electronics age will happen.
The Left and global elites want to stop or slow this from happening because they can't control the outcome. For them, it means they lose control just as kings and warlords did with during the industrial age.
