july 22, 2018 WASHINGTON – Why do so many Americans still believe Barack Obama was born in Kenya?

Maybe because he keeps insisting it’s so.

He did again last week, while visiting his ancestral homeland of Kogelo.

Participating in the opening of Sauti Kuu Resource Center, a youth facility built by his half-sister, Auma Obama, he said: “Now, three years ago, I visited Kenya as the first sitting American president to come from Kenya. When I was president it was a little bit harder to get up here cause my plane didn’t fit the tarmac up here.”

The story was NEVER blacked out.. It was a junior clerk in the publishing house who hadn't read Obama's book before he wrote the blurb for the dustjacket.

If you'd ever been to East Africa in the 1960s, you'd know that it was impossible for Obama to have been born there or for his mother to smuggle an undocumented child thru US customs and immigration.

Quite making a fool of yourself.. Have ever even had a US passport?

Kenya had no international airport in 1961 and it was a four day flying trip to get from Nairobi to Hawaii.. Further, women were not allowed to fly the long routes for 6 weeks after childbirth.

If she had registered the birth at the nearest US consulate in Kenya, baby Obama would have been registered as a natural born US citizen and been given a passport..

If not, his mother couldn't have gotten him thru Customs and Immigration.

What a weakass feckless party the Republicans must be to not have been able to prevent or remove, over two consecutive terms, a foreigner ostensibly never legally allowed to even run for president.

And all the Republican Party could manage in response was this sort of thing.

I realize that.

And if Text Driver wants to S T R E T C H what former President Obama said to mean "he says he's from Kenya" (meaning "I was born in Kenya")...I think he should do so without any shame. It is his right as an American to stretch anything he want to stretch...and fuck the people doubling over in laughter at it.

So...I am on his side.

ASIDE: I have had people say, "Apisa? What are you?" And I have responded "Italian," because I understood what they were asking. I was not born in Italy...I was born here in New Jersey.

But if some asshole were to use that to suggest I am claiming that I was born in Italy...I would defend that asshole's right to be as much an unthinking jerkoff as he wants.

See...I am very open-minded and respectful of the rights of others.

I seem to recall some Hillary supporters spreading the birther rumor because they couldn't "get over it" the first time she lost.
