I say we hold the GOP accountable for their horrific sins, work hard to establish a new political order free from those assholes forever

that would definitely be ugly, involve a fair amount of destruction and blood, but unavoidable if the nation is to survive

The GOP is a terrorist organization, under the control of a hostile foreign nation, that incites its adherents to act violently and perpetuates fiscal terrorism to advance narrow, ideological, unpopular goals and policies.

Conservatism can be erased.

In their statement, the members said they wanted more control over hiring and management of their own staff.

“We … believe this new caucus will allow our members to optimize our ability to serve our constituents and properly represent them at the State Capitol,” they said in the statement.

There are some perfectly nice Republicans, teabaggers, and wingnuts. By personality and disposition, I simply cannot muster the energy required to speculate about their demise and fate.

Now, on a related tangent, in a few decades, people who were involved in Climate Denial are going to be getting hunted down and crucified. But, I won't hold it against them if they want to deny they were ever deniers.

In a functioning democracy, the rightwing would never have a stranglehold on power, which they only achieve through subversion of democracy, voter suppression, gerrymandering, et al. If we can ever restore a functioning democracy, I would not even expend the effort to worry about these Trumptards. I mean, the average age of a Trumptard is what, eighty two? Most of them are going to be dead in a few years.

I view my role in a functioning democracy is to simply point out what the Republican Party is.

It is a party dominated by half wits, xenophobes, white trash, bible thumpers, white nationalists and bigots.

I plan on pointing out constantly, that the Republican base admires ignorance. They literally admire stupidity and ignorance. I plan to point out over and over that the modern Republican Party is mostly known for routinely nominating, supporting, and worshipping noted nit wits like Bedtime for Bonzo, Dan Quayle, George Dumbya Bush, Sarah Palin, and Donald J. Drumpf.

They are called blue dog dems, moderates, bipartisan, ect.

They cater and compromise with the right. They claim they need to listen to their constituents. It's all a ploy to keep republicans in power.
